Bidder terms
These terms apply to every contractor who bids on the website or in the Elite Direct Leads app.
Who can bid
Elite Direct Leads is a live auction where home service contractors bid on homeowner leads. You must be at least 18 and bidding for a contracting business you own or are authorized to represent.
You are responsible for holding the licenses and insurance your trade and state require.
How auctions work
Each lead opens as a timed auction with a starting bid. Every bid must clear the current high bid by the minimum increment shown. A bid placed in the final 60 seconds extends the clock by 60 seconds.
The highest bid when the clock reaches zero wins. Bids are binding. Placing a bid is a commitment to pay that amount if you win.
Each lead shows whether it is exclusive (one buyer) or shared with up to 3 buyers. Exclusive leads are not resold after the sale.
Paying and unlocking
When you win, the price you bid is due. The homeowner's full name, address, phone, email and appointment details unlock after payment. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
If a win goes unpaid, we may release the lead to another buyer and limit or close your account.
While the marketplace runs in demo mode, the leads shown are sample data and no charge is made. The app and site say so whenever demo mode is on.
Contacting homeowners
Every lead carries a record of where it came from and the consent basis for contacting the homeowner. You are responsible for your own outreach following the TCPA, the National Do Not Call Registry, state telemarketing rules, and any opt-out request a homeowner makes.
Use a lead only to offer the services of the trade it was sold for. Do not resell, share, or publish lead information.
Disputes
If a paid lead cannot be reached, is for the wrong trade, or duplicates one you already bought from us, open a dispute from your account within 48 hours of the lead unlocking. We review each dispute and may issue a credit or refund at our discretion.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself; bids placed from your account are yours. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account, Delete account) or by emailing us. Deleting erases your personal details. Records of past purchases are kept as required for accounting and consent evidence.
We may suspend accounts that misuse leads, fail to pay, or interfere with auctions.
